CERT training day

Today I had Community Emergency Responce Team training. So now if there is any kind of natural disaster, or terrorist anything, I am on the ball. I did it for a class I'm taking. Its gets me out of a 12 page research paper, and an automatic A on it. So why not!?! PLUS, I got a free neon yellow extra large vest, goggles, work gloves, a hard hat, flashlight, first aid kit... among other lovely goodies. You can bet I be stylin in my vest and hard hat. I wish I had a picture. ;) Maybe Ill take one....

I really REALLY need to start eating more. I realized today at 5, that I had yet to eat anything today. And then when I did eat, it felt like I got full after 4 bites, just because I havent been eating much. I dont do it purposly. I just forget to eat, because I dont feel hungry. Im busy with the baby, or doing whatever. Weird.

Oh! And by the way...

You maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay want to see the most beautiful boy in all the world... Im not proud of him or anything. ;)

Here are my personal favorites. And I wont post the ones that I have already posted further down.

Cute kid, right?? ;)

Not for BREAKFAST!

So... I have been TRYING to get Breydon to eat something solid. SOMEHTING! ANYTHING! So I bought a step 3 gerber baby food. Lasagna and meat sauce. There were tiny tiny pieces of noodles. I was SO FRICKIN excited to have him try it. I bought it at night after he had already eaten dinner so I had to wait to give it to him the next day. When I woke up the next morning to feed him breakfast (usually he gets yogurt), I had to LITERALLY, talk myself out of giving it to him for breakfast. The conversation with myself went something like this:

"Meagan... you wouldnt want lasagna and meat sauce for breakfast... you should wait."
----PAUSE while staring at the cupboard.
"No, but really. You need to wait. Thats a really gross breakfast."
--- Turn to look at Breydon.
"What do you think Mr. Breydon? Want lasagna?"
--- No responce, but he's staring at me with big eyes, waiting for his breakfast.
(to Breydon) "Lasagna? Yeah? You want lasagna? --PAUSE-- No? FINE. Mommy will wait."
(to myself) "This is ridiculous. Are you really doing this right now? Yogurt. You are giving him yogurt."

I did end up waiting the 4 hours until lunch time. I was so excited, and it was extremely uneventful. He hated it!! Spit out every last bit... PLUS some. He wasnt havin' it. We compromised and he had carrots or something else that was orange. Sad day.

Oh well!! Rest assured... I WILL try again!! ...just not for breakfast.

Breydon Made a Friend. :)

I went to college with a girl who has a little boy who is right around the same age as Breydon. She was in town so we got our boys togetehr for the first time... just because we thought it would be fun to see them together. We always talk and compare to see what they are doing so it was fun to see them next to each other. Breydon was very excited to see a little person his size, but his friend didn't know what to think about it. :)

I wish I had more friends with kids Breydon's age, because he reallllllly does like to see other babies.

Then this morning BEFORE lunch, I went to the OBGYN to get everything checked out. My bp was 114/78. Im done with my blood pressure medicine!! Hooray! He gave me prenatals to take so that when Michael and I decide that the time is right to have baby #2, we are already set to go. Yay!

My little man has FINALLY decided that he's going to roll. He did it once on Thursday, but he didn't do it again so I thought that maybe it was just a fluke. But on Friday, he was off!! Rolling clear accross the room, scooting around getting into everything. I love it! Its so cool to see him decide what eh wants, and then be able to get there. It makes me soooooo proud to see him learning new things. He'll be crawling in no time... he's already trying to figure it out.

Easter was really fun. I remember last Easter, I was showing my family a video of my 11 weeks gestation, non-gendered, unborn child in 3-D/4-D. This Easter, that tiny 11 weeks gestation, non-gendered, unborn child was 8 months old, and rolling all around the floor. :) He didn't really understand the concept of Easter baskets, but he still got 3 of them. We would set them in front of him, and he would get excited... but he would get one thing out and not realize that there was anything else in there. He's already watched his Easter Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD about 58795875 times. Its a hit.

Mr. Breydon has asthma... I dont know if Ive mentioned that or not. But anyway, he has a nebulizer and some medication that helps. Sometimes he sleeps through them... sometimes he screams like he's being murdered. It just depends on his mood I suppose. But they REALLY help, so Im thankful that we have something to help. When we got to the doctor last week, he was having so much trouble breathing that his blood oxygen levels were only at 82%. If he was in the NICU, the alarms would have been all going off. Anyway, it was 93% when we left so all was good.

I have an appointment with Dr. Howard at the Womens Center on Wednesday. I guess Im going to figure out if Im healthy enough to have another baby anytime soon. At my 6 week check up I wasnt cleared since my BP was still elevated. Im still taking medication to help it, but we were wanting our kids to be 2 years apart. Which would mean that I really need to get things figured out within the next few months. So Dr. Howard said that we could make a sort of "plan of action" for next time, and maybe come up with some things to do differntly to help prevent problems. Ill most likely be driving to Ft. Wayne for all my appointments with baby #2 just because thats where the specialist is. I dont mind, because Dr. Wheeler got Mr. Breydon here safe and soundly. So I trust him. :)

Thats about all I can think of...
More later!
