Happy (EARLY) Birfday, baby!
For Breydon's first brithday (yes- we are jumping the gun a little bit... he's not 1 until August) we were going to get him a little playground. But the more we thought about it, spending $150 for something that he could only use for a few years, didn't make sence. So we decided to go big. I know he can't really use this by himself yet--- but it gives me and him something to do outside on the warmer days (which hopefully come sooner rather than later). So here are some pictures from our adventure today. The instruction said that assembly would take 6 hours. We timed it, and with a lunch break and a few potty breaks, it took about 6 and a half hours. Not bad, boys!!! :D

Mr. Breydon didn't help much, but he sure did have fun!
I love our faces in this picture :) We were having fun, I promise!
He's not quite decided if mommy is being funny or not...
Oh! Yes! Mommy is funny...
And even funnier than before!
It gets serious when I have the drill... I got to screw in the most important part! A plack that says, "Backyard Discovery!"
The before space in the yard. Empty as can be.
Watching daddy, and the grandpas assembling the last parts.
Goin' up!
Everyone working hard.
Michael being silly.
My little family. <3
FINALLLY!

The jury is still 'out' on the slide...
Finished product!! ((notice the plack in the middle of the long beam. Thats my handywork)) LOL

If Jesus is coming today, he missed the 6:00 PM memo...
I have to say that all of this talk about the world ending had me a little on edge today. As a Christian, I know that no one, not even Jesus knows the day or time that he is coming back. But still. 6:00 has come and gone, so I think Im settling down now. The last time zone to reach 6:00PM is Pacific time, ((I think??)) and thats the time zone that this creeper predicting the end of the world is in. So... waiting for 9:00PM. ;)Also, since everyone has been on this "world ending" kick, I looked up the 2012 doomsday too. Here's what I found:
"For the ancient Maya, it was a huge celebration to make it to the end of a whole cycle," says Sandra Noble, executive director of the Foundation for the Advancement of Mesoamerican Studies in Crystal River, Fla. To render Dec. 21, 2012, as a doomsday or moment of cosmic shifting, she says, is "a complete fabrication and a chance for a lot of people to cash in."
Part of the 2012 mystique stems from the stars. On the winter solstice in 2012, the sun will be aligned with the center of the Milky Way for the first time in about 26,000 years. This means that "whatever energy typically streams to Earth from the center of the Milky Way will indeed be disrupted on 12/21/12 at 11:11 p.m. Universal Time," Joseph writes.
But scholars doubt the ancient Maya extrapolated great meaning from anticipating the alignment — if they were even aware of what the configuration would be.
Astronomers generally agree that "it would be impossible the Maya themselves would have known that," says Susan Milbrath, a Maya archaeoastronomer and a curator at the Florida Museum of Natural History. What's more, she says, "we have no record or knowledge that they would think the world would come to an end at that point."
University of Florida anthropologist Susan Gillespie says the 2012 phenomenon comes "from media and from other people making use of the Maya past to fulfill agendas that are really their own."

Picture Fun
In honor of my little boy turning 9 months old today... here are some pictures that we have taken recently of Breydon that I LOVE.
I love how old he looks in this picture. We were on our way to get him his first little dish of frozen yogurt!!
He wants ALL things electronic...
... and fudgecicles. :)
This face!!
He CAN use a sippy cup... when he feels like it.
Bath times are still a favorite! (I was questioned about the amount of bath water Breydon gets. I can assure you that when he gets this much, I am ALWAYS right next to him in the tub.) :)
This little stinker kept escaping from his towel, where he was SUPPOSED to be drying off. It was too cute to not take a zillion pictures... and a few videos of his naked butt crawling across the room. ;)
Still naked. But standing this time.
The first bottom tooth. :) My only hint was that he was chewing on everything and had runny diapers. He was still as happy as could be!
Yes, its true-- Im jealous of my sons eyelashes.
Hahaha... booty in the air, sleeping soundly.
Happy nine months old Breydon!!!!!

Twenty-One
In the last 21 days, my baby has learned to: roll in BOTH directions, sit himself up from a laying position, crawl, and he even got his first bottom tooth. My little baby isnt so little anymore... :(
I may regret this...
... But I voulnteered to "play softball" on Tuesday in the mens church league. Hahahahahahha!! The thing is... I ALWAYS go and watch the games because Michael and my daddy play. Even when its freezing cold, even when I have a 8 month old and the game is late, even when Im pregnant and on bedrest, Im there. I like it that much. So the thought of forfitting a game, simply due to a lack of players... If I can do something... I will. So... I might be watching the game this week FROM the field instead of the stands. :) I cant promise that Ill touch the ball... and I can GUARENTEE that I wont hit the ball... but Ill stand out there, and pretend to play. And Ill walk up to the plate to bat. Michael? Dad? You better love me. :)

So... Im tired of being stuck in the house. And almost every day Breydon and I fill up the jacuzzi and take a bath, because we need something to do, and he loves water. So. This is my solution to not wanting to be inside every day. :D
And I went back to the OBGYN today to re-check my blood perssure. 128/80, which is a little bit high, but probably because I was nervous. ;) HOWEVER, I am completely done with BP medicine. And we are 100% clear to try again for another baby! So, hopefully shortly after Breydon's first birthday we will have some happy news to announce! (Or keep secret, until the second trimester like we did last time..) ;)
