Mothers Day!

Yesterday morning I woke up to Michael and Breydon hovering over me. I noticed they were there because mister Breydon is NEVER quiet when he is awake. Such a boy. :) I quickly saw that there were donuts for me on the table next to my bed, and that Michael had gotten me my favorite flowers. So sweet! Breydon had finger painted a card for me, and Michael had a card for me as well. Inside he had written me a letter telling me how much he loved me, and how thankful he was for me. It also said that next Satuday he's taking me to my favorite resturant, and out to dinner, and CLOTHES SHOPPING which is like... my favorite. :) After church Michael let me take a nap which was wonderful, and we grilled for dinner. It was quite the day. I am SO lucky to have those boys in my life. SO lucky!! :) Happy first mothers day to meeeeeeee!

Breydon is the light of my life, the reason that I wake up in the morning, the reason my heart beats. I love him more than ANYTHING in this world. The closer he gets to a year old, and the closer we get to thinking about having another baby the more I wonder if I could have another baby that could even come close to comparing to him. He is sweet, snuggley, mommy's boy, and he's cuter than any child Ive ever seen. ((Yes, I am being very biased. Mommy's are allowed!! lol)) But seriously though! Hes perfect.

I should be graduating from college this weekend. But Im not. Im trying not to cry as I type this, because it makes me sad. I KNOW that I have something (someone) much more important than a diploma. I have Breydon. And I know that I will graduate, its not like I went to school for 3.5 years, just to not finish. Im working on it, slowly. I would have never thought when I started college, that I would be HERE right now. It just goes to show that God's plans are bigger than mine. It doesnt matter if I wanted to graduate today... God decided that it was time for me to have a family instead. Thats fine with me. Cuz all I have ever wanted, my main wish for myself, was to be a mommy. And that- I am! :) :) :)

This was just a random day that I woke up looking HUGE because he switched positions. I went back to normal the next day because he had moved back. My belly looked so round here!! The rest of the time it was oblong. :)

I cannot imagine how HUGE I would have been if I carried Breydon to term!! Hopefully next time, Ill know. ;)

This has been the longest weekend of. my. life. Honestly! I am an introvert, so sitting in a classroom from 8-5 every day this weekend with a bunch of people I dont really know, was EXHAUSTING!! But, now I am certified in search and rescue, triage management, first aid, and extinguishing smallish fires. Good thing.

Tomorrow is Mr. Breydon's bi-monthly cardiologist appointment. Im not nervous for it, because usually they are boring. Yes- my son's heart is still doing something weird, NO- we arent going to increase his medicine... and Yes- he is getting another EKG. And those SUCK because he wont sit still long enough to get a good reading. So it takes a year to do. And he grabs the wires and rips the leads off, so its like a never ending test.

Bahhh.

CERT training day

Today I had Community Emergency Responce Team training. So now if there is any kind of natural disaster, or terrorist anything, I am on the ball. I did it for a class I'm taking. Its gets me out of a 12 page research paper, and an automatic A on it. So why not!?! PLUS, I got a free neon yellow extra large vest, goggles, work gloves, a hard hat, flashlight, first aid kit... among other lovely goodies. You can bet I be stylin in my vest and hard hat. I wish I had a picture. ;) Maybe Ill take one....

I really REALLY need to start eating more. I realized today at 5, that I had yet to eat anything today. And then when I did eat, it felt like I got full after 4 bites, just because I havent been eating much. I dont do it purposly. I just forget to eat, because I dont feel hungry. Im busy with the baby, or doing whatever. Weird.

Oh! And by the way...

You maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay want to see the most beautiful boy in all the world... Im not proud of him or anything. ;)

Not for BREAKFAST!

So... I have been TRYING to get Breydon to eat something solid. SOMEHTING! ANYTHING! So I bought a step 3 gerber baby food. Lasagna and meat sauce. There were tiny tiny pieces of noodles. I was SO FRICKIN excited to have him try it. I bought it at night after he had already eaten dinner so I had to wait to give it to him the next day. When I woke up the next morning to feed him breakfast (usually he gets yogurt), I had to LITERALLY, talk myself out of giving it to him for breakfast. The conversation with myself went something like this:

"Meagan... you wouldnt want lasagna and meat sauce for breakfast... you should wait."
----PAUSE while staring at the cupboard.
"No, but really. You need to wait. Thats a really gross breakfast."
--- Turn to look at Breydon.
"What do you think Mr. Breydon? Want lasagna?"
--- No responce, but he's staring at me with big eyes, waiting for his breakfast.
(to Breydon) "Lasagna? Yeah? You want lasagna? --PAUSE-- No? FINE. Mommy will wait."
(to myself) "This is ridiculous. Are you really doing this right now? Yogurt. You are giving him yogurt."

I did end up waiting the 4 hours until lunch time. I was so excited, and it was extremely uneventful. He hated it!! Spit out every last bit... PLUS some. He wasnt havin' it. We compromised and he had carrots or something else that was orange. Sad day.

Oh well!! Rest assured... I WILL try again!! ...just not for breakfast.
